Video Interview with CKTV Students
Rupert Rowe and Billy Kaohelauliʻi, Poʻo of the Kāneiolouma Heiau, were interviewed today by two students from CKTV, the Advanced Media Productions Class at Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School in Lihue, HI.
The interview and story will be entered into a national film festival contest hosted by the Student Television Network. This prestigious international film contest honors excellence in student filmmaking, and Film Excellence winners will be announced and recognized at the 2017 STN Convention in Anaheim, CA.
Kāneiolouma sincerely wishes Shayne Shibuya (6th grade) and Erik Olson (7th grade) the best of luck in their production efforts. Both students exhibited solid interviewing and videography skills as they respectfully met with the Hawaiian elders as part of their school project for CKTV, which they are now hard at work editing for their contest entry.
